This place is a classy, sophisticated restaurant. It has never disappointed me in several visit. You can go very formal in one of the rooms, or you can go for a lot of fun in the bar. The bar setting is frequented on the weekends by a group that sings along to a fabulous piano player. Go early one night for dinner at around 7:30 and hang out for when the party cranks up. If you like energy and show tunes, this is the place for you. Oh, and I forgot to mention, the food here is OUTSTANDING!!!!

this is a really wonderful hotel. I just had the experience of the lights going out when I stayed there. There was a very bad storm, and it seemed almost perfect because of the age of the hotel. I recommend the hotel, just watch out for the thunder down under.

This is a great location to stay in Old Town. You will enjoy everything about it. I think i would rate it 8 out of top ten hotels in Washington area.
