GRAPE + BEAN wears multiple hats-- we are a retail Wine Shop, a Coffee Spot, and a Wine Bar serving wines by the glass and a food menu of seasonal offerings great for sharing including delicious cheese and charcuterie plates, crostinis, salads, and sandwiches. On the retail side, GRAPE + BEAN is focused on small production wines and features a unique offering of artisinal cheeses, meats including delicious salumis and pates, and other gourmet products like olives and nuts from around the world. We are commited to providing high quality products which is why we hand select every item based on our own research, tastings, and experience. Most of our offerings are available both at the Wine Bar and for retail purchase. Come join us for a glass of wine (or 2) and a great bite to eat- and then take a bottle of wine to go!

Wine + Tasting Bar

At the Wine Bar, you can sit and enjoy wine by the glass and small and large plates alike including a beautiful selection of cheese and charcuterie plates, fresh, (organic where we can) salads, sandwiches, crostinis, and seasonal produce. The Wine Bar is a great spot for a dinner or a late lunch and the menu is perfect for sharing or come solo--we're happy to have you there. And if you really like what you sipped, you can always grab a bottle or two to go! Retail On the wine side, GRAPE + BEAN focuses on smaller, more independent producers offering a great and unique selection. On the coffee side, it's all about sustainable, fair trade, ecofriendly whole beans (to go) and brewed coffee on the only Clover in the DC area. We also sell all our wonderful cheese, meat, nuts, olives and great stuff from the wine bar on the retail side....plus home made breads (and crackers), handmade daily by Nathan Hatfield- the baker at Restaurant Eve.

Events GRAPE + BEAN regularly holds Wine Tasting events where we taste great wines paired with foods and learn and sip in a fun and informal atmosphere. These are fee-based events and RSVP is always required. Sign up for the newsletter on the website to get information on events + new offerings!
